Teradyne in the Philippines is seeking a skilled electronics technician to repair PCBA boards, run test procedures, and perform troubleshooting. The role involves handling assemblies, inspection, packing, and collaboration with engineers to improve processes.

Candidates should have electronics technology or industrial electronics training, plus board repair experience. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not provided. Local candidates only.

Formación

• Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates with relevant board repair experience.
• Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering, and repair.
• Experience in hardware/software validation for medium and high-end testers is an advantage.
• Goal-oriented, flexible, and hardworking.
• Computer literate.

Responsabilidades

• Keen attention to details, 100% compliance with PCBA handling procedures, must be physically able to pick up PCBA Assemblies and place inside a system or TBUs.
• Run the full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs and System set-up based on the defined procedure.
• Interpret failure datalog from test programs and follow defined troubleshooting steps to fix the PCBA; work with other Technician, Engineer, or Supervisor for failures that are not yet defined.
• Run a number of defined specific steps to properly fix the PCBA performing repetitive defined testing and troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure units have been reassembled/reworked and free from physical defects.
• Perform packing and shipping of boards.
• Works with other Technicians and Engineers in process and quality improvements, reliability issues as well as meeting department/section goals.
• Comply with company rules, policies, guidelines, and procedures.
