The Patient Service Officer will be part of the Business Office, providing operational and administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of day-to-day business processes. The role offers valuable hands-on exposure to billing operations, data management, system implementation, and departmental projects, while contributing to continuous process improvements.
This role provides practical exposure to end-to-end billing and operational workflows, with opportunities to develop an understanding of process controls, data accuracy, and operational governance. You will also gain hands‑on experience in system implementation, change management, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement initiatives.
Support the administration and execution of billing processes to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
Assist with billing data validation, reconciliation, and the resolution of discrepancies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Provide operational and administrative support for system implementation, enhancement, and change initiatives.
Maintain and archive documents accurately and systematically.
Perform day-to-day administrative and coordination activities to support business operations.
Assist with departmental projects and undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
GCE 'N' Level or higher.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or customer service is an advantage.
Able to perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document organisation.
Knowledge of billing and payment processes.
Familiar with insurance-related tasks such as LOG handling and payment refunds.
Comfortable managing phone and email communications professionally.
Able to navigate hospital systems and support transitions during system changes.
Adaptable, quick to learn, and able to adjust to new processes.
