Job summary

Gladex Travel and Tours Corp. is seeking a Sales Team Leader – Telesales to lead, coach, and manage a team of Telesales Representatives.

We value candidates with a strong BPO or telesales background who can drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets, while maintaining high call quality and customer service. On-site work in Binondo, Manila is required, with collaboration across Marketing, Reservations, Operations, and other departments.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in BPO Sales, Telesales, Telemarketing, Outbound Sales, or similar environment.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Team Leader, Sales Supervisor, SME, or equivalent leadership position.
• Proven experience managing and coaching sales representatives.
• Strong understanding of KPIs such as conversion rate, closing rate, revenue, productivity, QA, attendance, and lead management.
• Proven ability to achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and people-management skills.
• Strong objection-handling, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Data-driven and comfortable analyzing sales performance reports.
• Experience using CRM, sales tracking, or lead management systems is preferred.
• Experience in Travel & Tours industry is an advantage but not required.
• Willing to learn domestic and international travel products and booking processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate a team of Telesales Representatives.
• Drive the team toward daily, weekly, and monthly sales and revenue targets.
• Monitor calls, leads, follow-ups, conversion rates, closing rates, productivity, and individual performance.
• Conduct daily sales huddles, coaching sessions, call evaluations, and performance reviews.
• Develop performance improvement and action plans for team members who are below target.
• Coach representatives on sales techniques, objection handling, upselling, cross-selling, and closing.
• Ensure timely and consistent follow-up of customer inquiries and sales leads.
• Monitor proper usage and updating of CRM and sales monitoring systems.
• Ensure high standards of call quality, customer service, and client experience.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Reservations, Operations, Ticketing, and other departments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
• Develop the team's knowledge of travel packages, destinations, airfare, hotels, tours, visa assistance, and other travel services.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, scripts, conversion, and team productivity.
