Job summary

Coins, a leading crypto brand in The Philippines, seeks a visionary Technology Lead to drive the design and scaling of a high-performance exchange platform. You will build Java-based microservices, mentor a team, and work with product managers and designers to support global expansion.

You will guide the full software lifecycle, ensure robust code quality, optimize performance, and champion security for crypto transactions across production environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Java Developer with strong object-oriented programming
• Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud for microservices-based applications
• Leadership experience mentoring and guiding developers
• Strong knowledge of databases including MySQL and NoSQL (Redis)
• Familiarity with middleware (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Experience with RESTful web services and API design
• Version control with Git
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with system performance optimization is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the exchange platform with a focus on high performance and reliability
• Design, implement, and maintain robust Java-based applications and microservices
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure feasibility and best practices
• Develop maintainable code and conduct regular code reviews
• Troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production
• Mentor junior developers and foster technical growth
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply best practices to crypto platforms
