GSM - Green SM seeks a Driver Training Manager in the Philippines to lead the driver training strategy and quality improvements. You will manage the Driver Training Team, align programs with business goals, and drive training effectiveness across depots and platform updates.

Responsibilities include end-to-end rollout, capacity planning, KPI linkage, and data dashboards. Strong leadership, bilingual fluency, and travel to GreenGSM depots are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Communications or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a managerial role leading teams.
• Fluent in Filipino and English (written and verbal).
• Experience monitoring KPIs and preparing operational reports.
• Knowledgeable about transport, automotive, deliveries and mobility industries.

Job description

The Driver Training Manager will be responsible for leading the overall driver training strategies and service quality process improvements. This role focuses on managing the Driver Training Team, ensuring alignment with business goals, driving training effectiveness, and supporting driver development initiatives.

You will also play a key role in identifying key driver training needs, designing driver learning solutions, and evaluating outcomes to ensure continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Design & Instructional Strategy

• Curriculum Development: Design, localize, and update comprehensive training programs tailored specifically for drivers and riders on the platform in the Philippines.
• Operational Alignment: Translate complex operational procedures, compliance standards, and platform updates into highly engaging, easy-to-digest learning modules.
• Blended Learning: Establish multi-modal training frameworks (e.g., localized classroom sessions, hands‑on practical simulations, and digital micro‑learning) optimized for rapid scaling.

2. End-to-End Implementation & Project Management

• Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and evaluate Training Specialists, ensuring high‑quality training delivery and balanced workload distribution across all programs and projects.
• Launch & Deployment: Manage the end‑to‑end project lifecycle for training rollouts, including new depot launches, platform feature updates, and strategic operational changes.
• Capacity Planning: Coordinate trainer deployment schedules and facility utilization to maximize training throughput without compromising learning quality.
• Impact Metrics: Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) linking training completion to real‑world operational performance (e.g., driver performance, customer service ratings, acceptance rates).
• Dashboard Management: Build and maintain clear data visualizations and training dashboards to track training pipelines, pass rates, and compliance across various operator segments.
• Executive Reporting: Provide structured weekly and monthly training performance reports to the Head of Driver Training and Engagement, offering data‑driven insights to continually refine our approach.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Communications or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a managerial role, leading and managing people or similar leadership positions.
• Preferably with National Certificates
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience monitoring KPIs and preparing operational reports.
• Comfortable analyzing data (retention, sentiments, service quality) to design and execute strategic actions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in both Filipino and English (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in regional languages (e.g., Cebuano, Hiligaynon, Ilocano) is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable about the transport, automotive, deliveries, and mobility industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft/Google productivity tools (Sheets, Docs, Slides); comfortable preparing flowcharts, schedules, and action plans.
• Ability to lead a team in multi‑tasking, prioritization, and meeting timelines on deliverables.
• Highly motivated self‑starter with a sense of urgency and works well under pressure.
• Willing and able to travel regularly in GreenGSM depots and sites
