JOB DESCRIPTION:
1.0 GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Technical Trainer shall be responsible for managing the inhouse technical training organization and operation.
2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Technical Trainer shall:
- A. Facilitating the service personnels’ career development program.
- B. Conducting periodic technical training needs analysis of service personnels to identify areas of learning deficiencies and align these with corporate requirements and industry standards.
- C. Developing appropriate technical training programs according to identified training needs and ensuring that service personnels’ skills are continuously updated according to corporate and industry developments.
- D. Developing and updating the training courses, curriculum, modules, and materials.
- E. Documenting important/critical service job orders in the form of service bulletins, providing training to service personnels to ensure that the service information/instructions contained are fully disseminated and explained.
- F. Establishing and managing the technical training facilities, equipment, and training components.
- G. Executing the training courses.
- H. Conducting post-training analysis to assess the training effectivity, providing post-training reports and recommending/executing necessary improvements.
- I. Coordinating with equipment Principals regarding products and skills training programs and executing the same for EOSI.
- J. Assisting in the selection of trainees for inhouse apprenticeship program.
- K. Coordinating with TESDA/other Government agencies regarding technical training matters.
- L. Coordinating with external training providers/equipment suppliers for the conduct of product/technical trainings for EOSI.
- M. Conducting technical training for customers regarding equipment turn-over, operations and maintenance, and other specialized customer technical training that may be required.
- N. Assisting in the skills assessment of personnels.
- O. Safekeeping and updating of training records and training material.
- P. Developing and supervising the inhouse Technical Training Section.
- Q. Providing the Superiors with reports/information regarding equipment technical training and industry updates.
- 2.2 Provide technical support to Field Service Team/Customer Support Section regarding equipment service concerns.
- 2.3 Execute other functions related to foregoing duties and responsibilities, as may be required/assigned by the Superiors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years experience as Technical Trainer
- Preferably with work background from the equipment / automotive industry
- Preferably TESDA-certified as Technical Trainer / Trainer's Methodology 1
