Job summary

Whale Cloud in the Philippines is seeking an IT engineer to manage daily O&M duties, monitor system health, and perform backups while supporting telecom software projects through the full delivery lifecycle.

You will bridge end-users with the China R&D team, translate feedback into technical requirements, assist with system, integration, and UAT testing, and coordinate with external vendors. The role requires shift work and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• Experience with MySQL/Oracle databases.
• Experience deploying on Linux platforms.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with Claude Code/Codex tools.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (IT)/Computer Software Engineer/Computer Science/ related field.
2. knowledgeable in MySQL/Oracle.
3. Experienced in implementing on Linux platforms.
4. Fluent in English(Chinese is a plus).
5. Strong management skills and a collaborative team player.
6. Proficient in using Claude Code/Codex.
