Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering degree required.
• 2–3 years in technical support or field service in electrical systems.
• Experience with electrical codes and safety standards is preferred.

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Support Electrical Engineer to join the growing team at INFINITEQ Smart Power, Inc. This is a full-time position based in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. As a Technical Support Electrical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of providing expert technical assistance and support to our clients, team members, affiliates, manufacturing plant partners in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our electrical and electronic systems. This role is crucial to maintaining strong client relationships and driving customer satisfaction whilst contributing to the technical excellence of our organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive technical support to clients regarding electrical and electronic systems, including troubleshooting, diagnostics and solutions

• Respond promptly to technical inquiries and service requests from clients, ensuring timely resolution of issues

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of electrical installations and equipment to identify problems and recommend corrective actions

• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation regarding system performance, maintenance requirements and recommendations

• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to develop solutions for complex technical challenges and product improvements

• Assist in the installation, commissioning and testing of electrical systems and equipment at client sites

• Provide training and guidance to clients on the proper operation and maintenance of electrical systems

• Maintain accurate records of technical support activities, including service calls, repairs and maintenance performed

• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, manuals and support materials

• Stay current with industry standards, regulations and best practices in electrical and electronic engineering

What we're looking for

Must hold a valid driver's license (Restriction B). Must know how to drive a car.

• Graduate of BS Electrical Engineering

• Equipped with technical expertise and knowledge in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in technical support, field service engineering or electrical systems maintenance

• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, circuit design, power systems and control systems

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, test equipment and software commonly used in electrical engineering

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to identifying and resolving technical issues

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical clients

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering high-quality support

• Flexibility to travel to client sites as required

• Proficiency in using computer systems and relevant software applications

• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards and safety regulations is highly desirable
