Job summary

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a Registered Electrical Engineer to join our Mall of Asia facility in Pasay City.

This full-time role focuses on designing, implementing, and overseeing electrical systems across our operations to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. You will conduct site assessments, prepare drawings, supervise installation and testing, and provide mentorship to junior staff.

Qualifications

• Valid PEE license or equivalent in the Philippines.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0–1 years of professional electrical engineering experience; exposure to commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design software, CAD, and project management tools.
• In-depth understanding of Philippine electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; able to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site inspections.
• Preferred experience with facilities management, HVAC integration, or renewable energy solutions.

About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a Registered Electrical Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis at our Mall of Asia facility in Pasay City, Metro Manila. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing electrical systems and infrastructure projects that support our operations. Your expertise will be integral to ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of all electrical installations across our facilities, whilst maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, layouts, and specifications for new projects and facility upgrades
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate electrical requirements and potential challenges
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems
• Ensure all electrical work complies with Philippine electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation using relevant software
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance audits to identify potential issues and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other engineering professionals to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians

What we're looking for

• Valid Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) license or equivalent professional registration in the Philippines
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 0-1 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, with exposure to commercial or industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical design software, CAD programmed, and project management tools
• In-depth understanding of Philippine electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site inspections and project assessments
• Preferred experience with facilities management, HVAC systems integration, or renewable energy solutions
