Job summary

Melters Steel Corporation seeks a hands-on Facilities Supervisor to oversee all mechanical and electrical equipment within the assigned property and ensure efficient operation. You will lead MST staff, coordinate with owners and tenants, and enforce safety and maintenance schedules to sustain optimal performance.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or related engineering degree, 3–5 years in property or facilities management, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in property management, real estate, facilities management or similar role.
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of property operations, lease administration, building maintenance and tenant relations.
• Familiarity with Philippine building regulations, fire safety requirements and government compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

About the role

The position is responsible for the overall supervision of the equipments and technical facilities on the assigned property to ensure efficient and effective operation.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all Multi-Skilled Technician (MST) and other technical support staff to ensure efficiency in operation and conduct regular evaluation on overall performance
• Maintain all machineries and equipment in the building and ensure smooth operations of technical facilities
• Maintain cordial and friendly relations with unit owners and tenants and ensure that their complaints are acted upon expeditiously
• Handle, safeguard, monitor and ensure effective use of building equipments and technical facilities
• Conduct march-in/march-out procedures
• Ensure that all company policies, systems and procedures are followed and strictly implemented
• Disseminate and implement preventive maintenance schedule
• Supervise external contractors and conduct their performance evaluation
• Ensure that safety rules and procedures are complied with
• Conduct regular walk-arounds and inspections to ensure that all delegated tasks are properly acted upon

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or any related field
• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in property management, real estate, facilities management, or a similar role
• Experience in handling commercial, residential, or mixed-use properties preferred
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
• Knowledge of property operations, lease administration, building maintenance, and tenant relations
• Familiarity with Philippine building regulations, fire safety requirements, and relevant government compliance
