Job summary

United Neon Advertising, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Engineer to oversee end-to-end field operations, from planning and scheduling to installation, testing, commissioning and turnover, ensuring projects finish on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 2–3 years of experience in field engineering, technical support, or system maintenance (audiovisual, display, or LED systems preferred).
• Experience in after-sales operations, project execution, or client support is highly preferred.
• Experience managing technical teams or supervising external contractors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project execution from planning and scheduling to installation, testing, commissioning and turnover.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and technical support while meeting SLAs and targets.
• Plan and allocate resources to ensure efficient project and service operations and optimal team utilization.
• Monitor costs and budgets to maintain cost efficiency and protect project margins.
• Coordinate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Serve as escalation point for critical project and service concerns and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Supervise and develop Project Engineers and Technical Service Engineers through performance management and training.
• Ensure compliance with designs, technical specs, safety regulations, policies, and contractual requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements in project delivery, service workflows, reporting, and resource utilization.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports and recommendations to management.
• Proactively identify risks and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize delays and disruptions.
