Job summary

Exponent Controls and Electrical Corporation is seeking a Sales Engineer who blends technical acumen with strong sales and communication skills to present products and solutions to clients. You will develop technical proposals and support the sales team in closing opportunities.

Key responsibilities include preparing quotations based on client needs, collaborating with engineering teams to craft cost-effective solutions, and maintaining long-term client relationships while pursuing new business.

Qualifications

• Graduate or undergraduate of BS Electronics Engineering (ECE), Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering course.
• Vocational/Technical course graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• With 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in technical, industrial, engineering, or electrical products.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong interest in Technical Sales and Business Development.
• Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Keen attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to learn technical products, solutions, and industry applications.
• Able to work independently and effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused.
• Willing to travel for client meetings and site visits when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Present and demonstrate products, solutions, and services to existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare technical presentations, quotations, costing, and sales proposals based on client requirements.
• Work closely with clients and engineering teams to develop appropriate technical and cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams to identify opportunities and successfully close sales.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while developing new business opportunities.
• Provide technical assistance and product information to clients throughout the sales process.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, product presentations, and technical discussions when required.
• Monitor client requirements and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of proposals and services.
