As our Technical Sales Advisor, you are the trusted energy expert of the VoltX Energy team. Working in a customer-facing role, you will guide prospective customers through the technical aspects of our solar and battery solutions, helping them understand how our products meet their energy needs. Your mission is to use your deep product knowledge and consultative skills to build customer confidence, answer technical questions, and drive purchasing decisions.
Engage with prospective customers via calls, email, and chat to understand their energy requirements, property setup, and goals. Assess customer needs and recommend the most suitable battery storage configurations from our product range.
Present product features, system capabilities, and performance data in a clear, compelling manner tailored to each customer's situation. Prepare preliminary system proposals, including estimated energy output, savings projections, and product comparisons, to support the customer's decision-making process.
Address technical questions and concerns raised by customers regarding system compatibility, installation requirements, performance expectations, and warranty coverage. Translate complex technical specifications into simple, benefit-driven language that builds trust and removes barriers to purchase.
Work closely with the sales and installer coordination teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales consultation to order confirmation and installation scheduling. Provide technical validation on quotes and proposals before they are sent to customers.
Contribute to internal resources by documenting frequently asked technical questions, common customer objections, and effective responses. Support the development of customer-facing materials such as product comparison guides, FAQ sheets, and technical brochures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, with a natural ability to build rapport with customers.
A genuine interest in sales, customer engagement, and consultative problem-solving.
The ability to explain technical concepts clearly and simply to a non-technical audience.
Experience working with a CRM or ticketing system (e.g., HubSpot, Zendesk) is an advantage.
