Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team and support recruitment across Australian clients. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role focused on technical and IT positions.
You will source, screen, assess, and manage candidates for permanent and contract roles, building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality talent in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team and support recruitment across a portfolio of Australian clients.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end recruitment role focused heavily on technical and technology-related positions. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, assessing, and managing candidates for both permanent and contract opportunities, working closely with Australian clients and hiring managers to understand their requirements and deliver high-quality talent.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience recruiting for the Australian market, particularly within IT and technology, and be confident sourcing hard-to-find technical talent in a competitive market.
Manage the recruitment process from role briefing and sourcing through to offer and placement.
Partner closely with Australian clients and hiring managers to understand role requirements, technical capabilities, team structure, and cultural fit.
Develop a strong understanding of each client's business, technology environment, and hiring needs.
Provide regular updates to clients on recruitment progress, market feedback, candidate availability, and challenges.
Manage multiple vacancies and priorities across different clients while maintaining a strong candidate and client experience.
Proactively source and headhunt candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, databases, referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels.
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for high-demand technical roles.
Recruit across a broad range of technology and digital positions, including:
Project Managers
Business Analysts
Software Developers / Engineers
Service Desk / IT Support
Systems and Network roles
Conduct thorough initial screening and competency-based interviews to assess technical experience, communication skills, career history, motivation, availability, and cultural fit.
Assess candidates against both the technical requirements and broader role expectations before presenting them to clients.
Provide clients with well-qualified and relevant candidate shortlists rather than high volumes of unsuitable profiles.
Manage recruitment for both permanent and contract positions across multiple Australian clients.
Understand differences between permanent and contract recruitment, including candidate availability, notice periods, engagement requirements, and timelines.
Maintain strong pipelines of candidates who are open to contract opportunities and short-term engagements.
Manage candidate expectations around compensation, employment type, start dates, and recruitment processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Keep candidates engaged and informed from initial contact through interview, offer and onboarding.
Negotiate offers and manage candidate expectations in line with client requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and recruitment records in the ATS.
Provide timely feedback to candidates and clients and ensure a positive recruitment experience.
3+ years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably supporting the Australian market.
Demonstrated experience recruiting for IT and technology roles.
Strong experience recruiting technical positions such as Project Managers, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and Service Desk/IT Support professionals.
Experience working for a Recruitment Agency
Experience handling both permanent and contract recruitment.
Strong sourcing and headhunting capability, particularly for hard-to-fill technical roles.
Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle.
Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to confidently communicate with Australian clients, hiring managers, and candidates.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and effective ATS/database management.
