Job summary

peoplegig is seeking a proactive Sourcing Specialist to identify, engage, and build candidate pipelines across multiple roles. You will collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to define candidate profiles, conduct outreach, and maintain accurate ATS records.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of sourcing or recruitment experience, strong English communication, and hands-on use of LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search techniques.

Responsibilities

You will play a critical role in building talent pipelines across various roles, ensuring we consistently deliver top-tier candidates to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, databases, and other sourcing channels
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles
• Conduct initial candidate outreach and engagement to assess interest and suitability
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates
• Track and report sourcing metrics including pipeline activity and conversion rates
• Stay up to date with market trends, talent availability, and competitor insights
• Support employer branding initiatives and talent attraction campaigns

Key Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in sourcing or recruitment, preferably in an offshore or agency environment
• Strong experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and Boolean search techniques
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Proven ability to source candidates across various roles (e.g. accounting, finance, admin, IT – depending on your business)
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Experience using ATS platforms and recruitment tools

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting Australian, US, or UK clients
• Familiarity with offshore staffing or BPO environments
• Background in sourcing for specialised roles (e.g. accounting, tech, healthcare)
• Experience using recruitment platforms such as Feelglass and B-line
• Experience with CRM or talent mapping tools
