Job description:
Preferably Bachelor's degree in Architecture (licensed an advantage)
Years of Experience:
At least two (3) year experience in the same industry

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
On Procurement Process
- Assist the procurement officer and or buyer to review, validate and process all requests (PRS & JORS) and purchase orders (PO) of the assigned categories/trade. Make sure that all information to source the category is well indicated.
- Provide technical / commercial assistance to Purchasing Officers and Commodity Buyers to develop awareness of manufacturing processes and improve product knowledge.
- Actively participates on negotiation to reduce the cost and ensure a competitive price from suppliers, contractors and service providers to secure competitive price.
- In cases of bidding events, assist the procurement team assigned for the coordination with vendors or any kind of support needed to complete the event.
- Assess tenders and quotations from potential vendors.
- Deliver briefs, updates and reports as and when required.
On Vendor Accreditation and Management
- Actively participate in vendor performance reviews and accreditation.
- Practice strategic sourcing to acquire materials, supplies and all services related to property management, real estate general construction and subsidiaries. And facilitates product presentation.
- May able to evaluate vendor’s billing and provides assistance with the suppliers and contractors in collection of payment.
- Maintain a good relationship with the suppliers, contractors and service providers.
- Deliver briefs, updates and reports as and when required
On Procurement Planning, Research and Development
- Research the current trends on the market related to the categories assigned to him/her and benchmark prices as a basis for negotiation.
- To provide strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projects.
- Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations by exploring alternate sources for goods and materials.
- Creates and delivers presentation of proposed alternate sources for goods and materials to the stakeholders for approval.
- Deliver briefs, updates and reports as and when required.
On Relationship Management
- Work collaboratively and engage with stakeholders and suppliers regarding new projects, supplies and initiatives and advise of impact of change on purchasing and production activities.
- Attend meetings and update others on issues or concerns.
- Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications
