Job summary

SN Aboitiz Power Group seeks an experienced procurement professional to lead end-to-end sourcing for strategic and complex goods and services across EPC/EPCM projects. The role emphasizes compliance, timely delivery, and cost optimization within the organization’s SCM framework.

The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of procurement practices in infrastructure and energy sectors, and will coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with contract terms and delivery milestones.

Qualifications

• 5 years in procurement, with EPC/EPCM project involvement.
• Knowledge of INCOTERMS, trade compliance, and logistics documentation.
• BS in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing processes for strategic and complex goods and services.
• Validate purchase requests for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
• Draft, review and manage procurement documents (RFIs, ITBs, RFPs, RFQs) per project requirements.
• Prepare and conduct bid evaluations to ensure fairness and compliance.
• Recommend vendors based on technical and commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure optimal pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Issue POs, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Assist in contract creation, including warranty provisions, liquidated damages, payment milestones, and risk terms.
• Support contract negotiations, claims management, and dispute resolution with legal and project teams.
• Support development and execution of Project Procurement guidelines aligned with SCM standards.
• Prepare and monitor annual procurement plan for timely delivery and cost optimization.
• Conduct Supplier Performance evaluations against KPIs and contract requirements.
• Perform market research on product availability, pricing trends, and vendor capabilities.
• Maintain supplier relationships and support warranty claims and issue resolution.

Job description

This position is responsible for the end-to-end procurement activities across strategic categories of the company. It ensures all purchases are carried out according to required quality standards, lead times, and specifications at the lowest cost, in compliance with the supply chain management policies, procedures and project requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills:

• In depth knowledge of supply chain management principles.
• Knowledgeable in local and international sourcing strategies.
• Knowledge in EPC/EPCM procurement frameworks (e.g. FIDIC, related industry standards).
• Strong business acumen with demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and supplier relationship management skills
• Effective in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment.
• Uncompromising on HSE and ESG compliance.
• Proficient in project and procurement tools (MS Project, Oracle procurement system, Microsoft Office).

Experience:

• 5 years in procurement, with EPC/EPCM project involvement.

Logistics and Delivery

• Coordinate delivery schedules and documentation with the end-users, logistics teams, and third-party logistics providers (3PL).
• Monitor movement of goods between warehouses and project sites.

Reporting and Compliance

• Maintain complete and procurement records to support audit readiness and compliance requirement.
• Prepare procurement and cost-benefit reports to support informed management decision-making

Coordination and communication

• Collaborate with end-users, project owners, logistics, and finance teams to validate specifications, align procurement activities with the contract terms, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Coordinate with project teams to support timely execution of procurement strategies, mitigate risks, and optimize costs across all project phases.
• Work with site warehouse and logistics teams to ensure on-time acceptance of goods and services and resolve any delivery issues promptly.
