Responsibilities

  • Prepares terms of reference, proposals/studies/research, and presentations.
  • Assists in conceptualizing effective systems and procedures for monitoring EBET implementation.
  • Assists in implementing and monitoring technical cooperation programs/projects.
  • Assists in developing systems, projects, and programs such as grievance mechanisms and inspection procedures for EBET stakeholders.
  • Prepares internal and external communications.
  • Provides technical inputs and periodic reports.
  • Develops knowledge management systems for targeting appropriate industry sectors.
  • Prepares budget proposals and financial plans.
  • Participates in inter-agency meetings/fora/conferences.
  • Performs other related functions as may be assigned.

POSITION: TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST II

OFFICE: ENTERPRISE-BASED EDUCATION AND TRAINING (EBET) PROGRAM DIVISION, ENTERPRISE-BASED EDUCATION AND TRAINING OFFICE (EBETO), TESDA CENTRAL OFFICE

SALARY: SG-16 (43,560.00)PERA: P2,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

  • 15 % - Prepares the Terms of Reference, proposals/studies/research, and presentations;
  • 10 % - Assists in the conceptualization of effective systems and procedures in monitoring the implementation of EBET;
  • 10 % - Assists in the implementation and monitoring of technical cooperation programs/projects;
  • 10 % - Assists in the development of systems, projects, and programs such as grievance mechanisms and inspection procedures for EBET stakeholders reported to be in violation of the labor code and other recognized arrangements;
  • 10 % - Prepares internal and external communications;
  • 10 % - Provides technical inputs and periodic reports;
  • 10 % - Develops knowledge management systems for the utilization in targeting appropriate industry sectors;
  • 10 % - Prepares budget proposals and financial plans;
  • 10 % - Participates/attends inter-agency meetings/fora/conferences;
  • 5 % - Performs other related functions as may be assigned.

  • Service Records for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies OR Certificate/s of Employment for outside applicants;
  • List of training programs attended indicating the number of training hours together with the certified photocopies of training certificates;
  • Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2024 for outside applicants OR Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) ratings for July to December 2024 of January to June 2025 (if applicable) (with at least Very Satisfactory Rating) for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details and email addresses for the following categories:
    • Superior
    • Peers
    • Subordinates (if applicable)
    • Clients (if applicable)
  • Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma;
  • Authenticated copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC;
  • Awards related to Performance (proof of evidences in the form of citation, medal, plaque, for awards/rewards received) (if applicable);
  • Expert Services (Resource Person/Speaker/Moderator/Panelist) (if applicable); and
  • Committees/ TWGs Participation (proof of evidences in the form of memorandum, office order, and/or certification/certificates) (if applicable)
