Manuel V. Gallego Foundation Colleges, Inc. (MVGFC) is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and research-oriented Technical Assistant to provide administrative and technical support to the Research and Development Office (RDO). The position assists in research documentation, coordination, data management, research activities, and other functions that support the effective implementation of the institution's research programs and initiatives.
Provide administrative and technical support in the day-to-day operations of the Research and Development Office.
Assist in the preparation, organization, processing, and filing of research-related documents, reports, correspondence, and records.
Maintain and update databases of faculty, staff, and student research projects, publications, presentations, and other research outputs.
Assist in the collection, encoding, consolidation, and organization of research data and information.
Provide support in the preparation and formatting of research proposals, manuscripts, reports, presentations, and other research-related materials.
Assist in coordinating research activities, meetings, seminars, conferences, research forums, and capability-building programs.
Coordinate with faculty members, students, researchers, and other institutional offices regarding research-related requirements and activities.
Assist in monitoring the submission and status of research proposals, ongoing studies, completed research, publications, and other required research outputs.
Support the Research and Development Office in documentation and preparation of requirements for CHED, accreditation, institutional reporting, and other relevant bodies.
Assist in maintaining organized physical and electronic files while ensuring the confidentiality and proper handling of research records and documents.
Provide logistical and administrative assistance for research presentations, conferences, publications, and other RDO initiatives.
Perform other research, technical, and administrative support functions as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or Management.
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, Business Administration, Information Technology, Statistics, Social Sciences, or any related field.
Preferably with knowledge or experience in research writing, research methodology, data gathering, documentation, or academic research.
Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research is an advantage.
Knowledge of basic statistical analysis and research tools/software is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, documentation, and records management skills.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
Able to work collaboratively with faculty members, students, researchers, and different institutional offices.
Demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality, initiative, and willingness to learn.
Fresh graduates with relevant research experience or academic research exposure are welcome to apply.
