Job summary

ConnectOS, an Australian accounting and advisory firm, seeks an experienced Team Leader to oversee our offshore bookkeeping team in Metro Manila. You will lead four bookkeepers, manage workflow, ensure deadlines, onboard new clients, and drive SOP development and continuous improvements.

You will collaborate with Australian leadership to align priorities, maintain quality, and optimize processes while delivering accurate client work in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience servicing Australian accounting clients.
• Strong Xero knowledge (experience with add-ons such as Deputy, Hubdoc and Dext highly regarded).
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strong process improvement and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support a team of 4 Bookkeepers.
• Manage workflow, capacity planning and client delivery schedules.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee onboarding of new bookkeeping clients.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows and process documentation.
• Drive operational improvements and automation opportunities.
• Liaise with the Australian leadership team on priorities and resourcing.
• Maintain quality control across the bookkeeping function.
