Job summary

Total Information Management Corp. is seeking a Systems Engineer to implement, maintain, and improve IT infrastructure, with focus on virtualization, servers, storage, backups, and hyper-converged systems (HCI).

The role ensures secure, reliable, scalable, and highly available systems to support business operations and disaster recovery. The candidate should have hands-on experience with VMware, storage solutions, backup tools, and HCI platforms like vSAN or Nutanix.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
At least 1 year of experience in the same field.
Technical skills experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Deploy and maintain virtualization environments using VMware vSphere, vSAN, Nutanix.
Perform routine server/storage/backup maintenance, patching, upgrades.
Support backup and disaster recovery solutions ensuring data integrity.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, with vendors when needed.
Identify platform problems and provide timely solutions.
Design system improvements to increase infrastructure efficiency and user experience.
Plan hardware upgrades and Health Check activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams for planning and deployment.
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for incidents outside hours.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
