Job summary

Advantest invites applications for a System Application Engineer in Metro Manila, Philippines. The role focuses on delivering test solutions for product correlation and evaluation, while addressing test development and production issues for semiconductor IC testing with ATE systems.

You will collaborate with engineers and sales to craft support strategies, execute dedicated plans, and maintain strong communication across customer teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or its equivalent.
• Experience in Semiconductor IC Testing, wafer or final test is a plus.
• Proven experience in SoC testing on ATE systems.
• Knowledge of Java or C++ programming.
• Knowledge with Linux Operating System and shell or other scripting language is a plus.
• With self-driven attitude for continuous learning.
• Demonstrated project management, good troubleshooting and strong structured problem-solving skills.
• Strong team player with good working attitude and excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well with all levels in the customer environments.

As an System Application Engineer you will be responsible providing support on applications related projects or topics for Advantest’s Automated Test Equipment to our valued customers which include:

• Support customer new products or ramp up projects by providing test solutions to product correlation and evaluation problems
• Able to work closely with customers resolving test development and production testing related issues
• Collaborate with Engineers and Sales to develop sales and support strategies
• Able to execute support plans as part of the focused customer account team.

• Technical experience in the Semiconductor IC Testing industry specifically on wafer or final test areas is a plus.
• Proven experience in SoC testing on ATE systems.
