Job summary

ams OSRAM Group in Laguna, Philippines seeks a Test Development Engineer to support the entire test development lifecycle for new products. You will define and implement HW test equipment setups, including wafer probes, testers, test handlers, and oscilloscopes to enable robust characterization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Microelectronics or measurement engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support Test Development Engineer through the full test development process.
• Define and set up HW test equipment (Wafer-Prober, Tester, Test-Handler, Oscilloscopes) for new products.
• Perform test programs, HW characterization over temperature, GRR, correlation, calibration and product qualification.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, NPI, Test Sustaining and Production to ensure timely silicon samples.
• Drive Repeatability and Reproducibility studies to transfer test solutions to manufacturing.

Your new responsibilities

• Support the Test Development Engineer throughout the whole phase of the Test Development process.
• He/She is responsible in the overall definition of HW Test Equipment use and setup (Wafer-Prober, Tester, Test-Handler, Thermosteric, Oscilloscopes, Etc.) for new products under development.
• He/She shall perform test program, Test HW characterization over temperature (Ex. Shmoo analysis), GRR, Correlation, setup calibration and product qualification in compliance with new product requirement checklists.
• Close cooperation with the Design team, Product engineering, NPI, Test Sustaining, Test Production, Etc. to ensure on time delivery of first silicon samples to the customers with the end goal of a product design win.
• Drive and perform the Repeatability and Reproducibility Studies which are necessary to transfer a test solution from an in-house development site or from other development sites to a full manufacturing high volume setup.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in the areas of Electrical, Electronics, Microelectronics & measurement engineering.
• Preferred 1 - 3 years working experience in the semiconductor industry & has Strong IC Testing background using ATE equipment (LTX/ Fusion EX, DiamondX, Handlers such as SRM rotary machines and Multi-test handlers.)
• In depth knowledge of Semiconductor Manufacturing Process
• Expertise in semiconductor test methodology
