Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in Laguna, Philippines, seeks an engineering support professional to assist in product set-up and issue isolation during production test.

The role requires BS Electronics Technology with 2 years’ experience, strong fundamentals in electronics, and hands-on familiarity with ATE equipment (Nextest, Credence D10, LTX Fusion, M3650). Job Description

Provide engineering support in product set-up and problem isolation. Perform verification and first level root cause analysis on yield and quality issues during production test. Other responsibilities also include working with Engineers in test requirements, quality improvements, test package qualification and releases, hardware maintenance, as well as meeting departmental goals.

• Good in electronics fundamentals and analytical skills.

• Proficient use of computer software such as MS Office.

• Ability to work independently and systematically.
• Basic knowledge in programming language such C, or C++.
• Familiarity on RF, Mixed Signal and Digital product testing.
• Hands-on working experience in ATE such as Nextest testers (PT, HD, GT, and VT), Credence D10, LTX Fusion, M3650, M3300, LTX DiamondX, Spea C600, Advantest V93K, Teradyne and other equivalent ATE.
