Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Cavite invites Senior/Staff Engineer Test Engineering to join our R&D team. You will manage test programs, interpret results, and collaborate with design and product engineering to release robust test solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor in Electronics or Electrical Eng, knowledge of Java/C++/Python, experience with semiconductor test processes, and hands-on work with Advantest V93K and Teradyne Nextest Magnum. Strong problem solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Min. Bachelor Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in Java, C++, Python Coding and other Programming language.
• Operating and programming knowledge of Advantest V93K & Teradyne Nextest Magnum is an advantage.
• Min. 3 to 5 years of semiconductor industry experience with test engineering, test processes, and equipment knowledge.
• Demonstrates advanced problem‑solving abilities, able to interpret technical data and identify solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a results‑driven approach.
• Able to work effectively in team environments and collaborate seamlessly with global partners.

Responsibilities

• Manages, plans and ensures manufactured components and assembled products meet Infineon standards and objectives.
• Works on installation, correlation and production release of test programs, data handling, interpretation of test results, interface to test development and product engineering, optimization of test package stability.
• Optimizes test programs stability regarding test coverage vs. yield, test time, test cost, performance, development and implementation of special purpose characterization test programs.
• Converts test programs between different test platforms including all necessary software and hardware engineering issues; review/avoidance of possible test coverage influences by change of test platform.
• Assessment of weaknesses in test coverage and correction of them, considering also the cost involved.
• Creates test methods and collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet test program deliverables for new products.
• Performs pre-silicon verification, interprets results and works independently with Design Engineer (New product test bring up).

• Manages, plans and ensures manufactured components and assembled products meet Infineon standards and objectives
• Works on installation, correlation and production release of test programs, data handling, interpretation of test results, interface to test development and product engineering, optimization of test package stability.
