Job description

The Sustainability Coordinator will be responsible for leading the strategy in this area, ensuring the integration of environmental, social, and cultural practices aligned with corporate standards and the brand’s philosophy. The main role will be to promote responsible experiences for guests and the community, manage administrative processes related to audits and reports, and foster environmental and social awareness within the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resource Management, or related fields.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in environmental management, corporate sustainability, or related projects.
• Knowledge of local and corporate environmental regulations.
• Experience with environmental permits and liaising with authorities.
• Ability to manage environmental indicators (energy, water, waste, carbon footprint).
• Experience with environmental audits and certifications (Preferred by Nature, EarthCheck, LEED, ISO 14001, Profepa, etc.).
• Ability to prepare ESG reports and performance metrics.
• Skills in designing and implementing sustainability plans.
• Oversight of recycling, waste management, and energy efficiency programs.
• Ability to train staff and lead environmental awareness campaigns.
• Experience managing supplier relationships to encourage responsible practices.
• Capacity to propose sustainable innovation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Effective communication skills to promote the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and social/environmental awareness.
