The Environmental Graphics Officer is responsible for designing, evaluating, and managing high-quality signages, wayfinding systems, spatial graphic displays, and property enhancement set-ups across the integrated resort. Reporting to the Environmental Graphics leadership, the primary objective of this role is to elevate guest navigation, support brand consistency, and maintain the aesthetic and structural integrity of all environmental graphics through precision design, site assessments, and strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The position operates within the limits of established brand guidelines, safety standards, material and fabrication budgets, and departmental project management protocols, requiring technical accuracy, creative initiative, and flexibility to meet project deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Environmental Graphic & Spatial Design
  • Design comprehensive property signages, wayfinding systems, and graphic artwork in alignment with the resort’s brand identity and team scope.

  • Develop conceptual and production designs for temporary and permanent spatial installations, including promotional booths, VIP lounges, stage set-ups, construction hoardings/board-ups, and property improvement elements.

  • Produce precise layout specifications, scale drawings, and detailed plans reflecting accurate dimensions for all proposed signage and graphic installations.

Site Inspection & Technical Assessment
  • Conduct initial site ocular inspections for proposed projects to assess physical space dimensions, structural requirements, and material suitability.

  • Perform daily site ocular inspections for ongoing and installed projects to monitor the physical condition, functionality, and visual appeal of signages under the team's accountability.

  • Apply technical understanding of floor plans, elevations, section plans, and architectural terminology to ensure seamless integration of designs with existing resort structures.

Fabrication & Material Coordination
  • Evaluate and select appropriate building and construction materials suitable for various environmental conditions across the property.

  • Oversee and guide signage fabrication processes, ensuring technical standards are met for components such as backlit displays, LED adboxes, lightboxes, and architectural signage.

Project & Workflow Management
  • Manage incoming project job orders to ensure strict adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and project timelines.

  • Evaluate workflow processes, organize project task lists, and prioritize design deliverables to optimize team efficiency.

  • Report real-time project status, operational risks, and design bottlenecks to superiors, ensuring timely escalation and necessary approvals.

Stakeholder Engagement & Administrative Support
  • Participate in and present design concepts, technical proposals, and project deliberations during stakeholder meetings.

  • Draft professional email communications, design briefs, and presentation materials for internal and external project collaborators.

  • Provide ongoing technical and administrative support to team leadership to streamline overall department operations and daily workflows.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or an equivalent field of study.

  • Work Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in environmental graphics, signage design, wayfinding, or spatial/exhibition set‑up design, ideally within large-scale commercial, hospitality, or resort properties.

  • Technical & Software Proficiency:

    • Advanced proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and graphic layout programs, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDraw, and relevant 2D/3D drafting tools.

    • Strong ability to read, interpret, and generate technical layout plans, floor plans, structural elevations, and section diagrams.

  • Fabrication & Material Knowledge:

    • Solid understanding of architectural/building materials, visual display components, and fabrication techniques for lighted signs, LED adboxes, lightboxes, and structural installations.

  • Communication & Soft Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with proven confidence in delivering technical presentations, writing project briefs, and collaborating across teams.

    • Strong aesthetic judgment, creative imagination, and attention to detail.
