Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage student discipline cases from intake to resolution, ensuring fairness, due process, confidentiality, and compliance with the Student Handbook.
  • Conduct investigations, case conferences, disciplinary hearings, and prepare case documentation, notices, resolutions, and recommendations.
  • Partner with students, parents, faculty, and academic leaders to resolve behavioral concerns using a restorative discipline approach.
  • Monitor student behavior trends and recommend interventions to reduce recurring discipline cases.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Behavioral Science, Social Work, or a closely related field. Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of direct experience in student discipline, student affairs, guidance, student formation, dean of students, or case management within a college or university. Experience in K–12 or purely corporate HR/administration is generally not considered.
  • Demonstrated experience handling student disciplinary cases, conducting investigations, facilitating case conferences, preparing resolutions, and managing confidential student records.
  • Experience developing and implementing student formation, behavioral intervention, values formation, or restorative discipline programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of CHED regulations, student affairs administration, due process in student discipline, and restorative discipline/restorative justice practices.
  • Proven ability to facilitate orientations, conflict resolution, mediation, and discussions with students, parents, faculty, and administrators.
  • Strong report writing, documentation, analytical, organizational, and database management skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, emotional maturity, professionalism, and the ability to manage highly sensitive and emotionally charged situations with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and student information or case management systems.
Responsibilities:
Student Discipline & Case Management
  • Manage student discipline cases from intake to resolution, ensuring fairness, due process, confidentiality, and compliance with the Student Handbook.
  • Conduct investigations, case conferences, disciplinary hearings, and prepare case documentation, notices, resolutions, and recommendations.
  • Partner with students, parents, faculty, and academic leaders to resolve behavioral concerns using a restorative discipline approach.
  • Monitor student behavior trends and recommend interventions to reduce recurring discipline cases.
Student Formation & Behavioral Development
  • Design, implement, and evaluate student formation and values development programs aligned with CIIT's mission and restorative discipline framework.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and behavioral interventions for students requiring additional support.
  • Collaborate with Academic Heads, Student Services, Guidance, and Student Organizations to strengthen student development initiatives.
  • Conduct orientations and workshops on student conduct, community standards, and relevant policies.
Policy Development & Compliance
  • Review and recommend updates to discipline-related policies, procedures, and the Student Handbook.
  • Monitor compliance with institutional policies, CHED issuances, and other regulations affecting student discipline and conduct.
  • Serve as a resource person on student discipline matters for faculty, staff, and administrators.
Documentation, Reporting & Administration
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential student discipline records and case documentation.
  • Prepare reports, behavioral analytics, and recommendations for management and accreditation requirements.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of discipline and formation programs and recommend continuous improvements.
