Job summary

Utopia Design in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to lead the structural design development for luxury hospitality assets worldwide. You will work on villas and boutique hotels, coordinating with architects, interior designers, MEP engineers, and clients.

The role requires strong knowledge of seismic design, building codes, CAD and BIM tools, and the ability to produce detailed drawings and specifications while ensuring design intent and high-end aesthetics.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering.
• 5 to 8 years of structural design experience in a design consultancy or GC.
• Experience on hospitality projects and seismic design.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and CAD/BIM workflows.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design development for luxury villas and boutique hotels.
• Produce detailed drawings, calculations, and construction specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and MEP engineers.
• Coordinate using BIM models; ensure alignment with design intent and codes.
