We're looking for an analyst who can connect what marketing does to what the business earns. You'll own the data behind our special projects, major campaigns, and team KPIs across social media, livestream, creators, and events. Your central mission is to answer a hard question: do our marketing metrics (reach, impressions, engagement) translate into commercial outcomes (downloads, registrations, first deposits, and revenue), and what keeps those customers around once we've won them?
This isn't a reporting role. You'll sit between the data and the business, understand what each function is trying to achieve, and turn numbers into decisions.
What you'll do
- Partner with each function to understand their goals, then define the KPIs that genuinely reflect success for them.
- Work with product, growth, and data engineering teams to make our data trustworthy, including UTMs, event taxonomy, and measurement partner setup.
- Own performance reporting across social, livestream, creators, and events, covering always-on activity, major campaigns, and special projects, from pre-launch benchmarks through post-campaign reviews.
- Build the attribution framework that links top-of-funnel marketing metrics to commercial outcomes, from impression all the way to revenue.
- Design and run experiments (holdout, geo, and A/B tests) that show what marketing actually caused, beyond what it merely correlated with.
- Analyze what happens after acquisition, including cohort retention, customer lifetime value, and the drivers of churn, using both behavioral data and customer feedback.
- Turn your analysis into recommendations on budget, channel mix, campaign strategy, and retention. Build executive-ready decks, such as post-mortems, quarterly reviews, and business cases, and present them to senior stakeholders with a point of view, including when the data contradicts current assumptions.
What you bring
- 4 to 7 years in marketing analytics, growth analytics, customer analytics, or business intelligence, ideally at a tech, app-based, fintech, or e-commerce company.
- Strong SQL skills, plus hands-on experience with at least one BI tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Working knowledge of Python or R for analysis. This is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with measurement platforms such as AppsFlyer or Adjust, GA4, and platform ads managers.
- A solid grasp of attribution models, including their limitations, and of cohort, retention, and lifetime value analysis.
- Experience designing or interpreting incrementality tests, marketing mix models, or churn models. You'll be a standout if you have this.
- Business sense: you understand what a creator leads, an events manager, and a CFO are each trying to achieve, and which numbers matter to each of them.
- Strong data storytelling. You can take a complex analysis and build a deck that leads a senior audience to a decision in 10 slides or fewer, using PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Stakeholder management skills, including the confidence to push back with evidence.
- Sharp attention to detail. You catch the broken UTM before it ruins a month of data.
- Comfort with speed and ambiguity. You can deliver an 80% answer by Friday and the rigorous version later.
