• Ability to analyze market trends, supplier profiles, spend data, pricing, and financial information.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze strategic sourcing opportunities with stakeholders.
• Develop sourcing strategies based on spend, commodity, market, supplier, and business analysis.
• Conduct spend, market, commodity, and supplier analysis to identify cost savings opportunities.
• Partner with analytics teams to identify cost optimization and procurement efficiency opportunities.
• Conduct supplier risk assessments to support business continuity.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend suitable suppliers based on needs and market conditions.
• Analyze market trends, supplier profiles, pricing, spend data, and financial information to support decisions.
• Support end-to-end sourcing activities from requirements gathering to implementation.
• Collaborate with Legal, Commercial, Finance, and other teams through contracting processes.
• Assist in developing and recommending contract templates and agreements.

About the role

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will support strategic sourcing initiatives through supplier research, market and spend analysis, commercial evaluation, contract negotiation, and stakeholder management. The role will help identify sourcing opportunities, evaluate suppliers, support negotiations, and drive cost savings and value generation across procurement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and analyze strategic sourcing opportunities in collaboration with business proponents and key stakeholders
• Develop sourcing strategies based on spend, commodity, market, supplier, and business analysis
• Conduct spend, market, commodity, and supplier analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and value generation
• Partner with analytics teams and relevant stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost optimization and procurement efficiency
• Conduct supply chain and supplier risk assessments to support business continuity
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend suitable suppliers based on business requirements and market conditions
• Analyze market trends, supplier profiles, pricing, spend data, and financial information to support sourcing decisions
• Support end-to-end sourcing activities, from requirements gathering and supplier identification through evaluation, recommendation, award, and implementation
• Collaborate with Technical, Legal, Commercial, Finance, and other relevant teams throughout the contracting process
• Support the development and recommendation of appropriate contract templates and agreements based on specifications, requirements, and risk assessments

About you

• At least 3 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Strategic Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Category Management, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in any 4-year Business-related, Behavioral Science, or Engineering course
• Experience in supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, procurement strategy, commercial evaluation, or category management is highly preferred
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to analyze market trends, supplier profiles, spend data, pricing, and financial information
• Strong understanding of strategic sourcing and procurement processes
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple sourcing initiatives
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
