Job summary

Alon Capital Finance Corporation in Makati seeks a Portfolio & Credit Manager to own credit quality, portfolio performance, and LMS-related systems for our SME lending business. You'll lead credit analysis, risk management, and portfolio monitoring, working with account officers and the Credit Committee to ensure sound decisions and robust reporting.

Responsibilities include implementing LMS, designing end-to-end loan workflows, training teams, and maintaining data integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit analysis, risk management, portfolio management, or lending operations.
• Strong understanding of SME lending and credit evaluation.
• Ability to analyze financial and credit information and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of ownership.
• Comfortable working with loan management systems, data, and reporting dashboards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both frontline teams and senior stakeholders.
• A structured, analytical approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of our Loan Management System (LMS).
• Design workflows covering loan origination, disbursement, repayment tracking, and collections monitoring.
• Train internal teams on LMS usage and ensure data accuracy across active SME portfolios.
• Review credit evaluation reports and risk assessments prepared by Account Officers.
• Provide objective recommendations to the Credit Committee on credit approvals, pricing, structures, and covenants.
• Maintain internal credit guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory and risk requirements.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signs of credit deterioration and non-performing loans (NPLs).
• Generate monthly portfolio risk reports and operational dashboards for leadership.
• Help strengthen our credit monitoring processes and overall portfolio management framework.
• Location: Makati; Work arrangement: Hybrid; Work from home: 1 day per week.
