Job summary

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company is seeking a Recoveries Manager to lead the Recoveries team, oversee agencies, and ensure targets are met. The role emphasizes analytics, policy implementation, and strong collaboration with outside agencies to maximize collections and minimize losses.

You will supervise Recoveries Assistants, monitor delinquency levels, and drive process improvements while ensuring compliance across agency partners and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably in business.
• At least 3 years of collections experience in recoveries.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge on collection system and policies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Recoveries Assistants and ensure agency targets are met.
• Provide analytics on strategies and monitor flow rates and delinquency of 90+ days past due accounts.
• Endorse accounts to collection agencies based on performance, capacity and consistency.
• Oversee compliance of Visayas-Mindanao agency sites through regular visitation.
• Coach the team to improve efficiency and minimize credit losses; organize monthly/quarterly agency activities.
• Assist customers in drawing and finalizing payment arrangements to avoid defaults.
