Job summary

Sardine is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to lead our in-house purchasing across software, IT, marketing, travel, and services. You will drive negotiations, manage vendor relationships, and own renewals while balancing commercial terms with risk.

In this remote-first role, you will partner with Finance, IT, and Legal to ensure compliant contracts and optimal value, building scalable procurement processes as our first procurement hire.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or negotiations.
• Experience owning vendor negotiations, contracts, and renewals across multiple spend areas.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and maintain purchasing discipline.
• Experience coordinating vendor security and data privacy reviews with Legal/Security.
• Proven track record in achieving savings and better terms.

Responsibilities

• Own the full vendor lifecycle from sourcing to renewals.
• Negotiate terms, consolidate tools, and optimize spend across software, marketing, travel, and services.
• Guide stakeholders through purchasing decisions and maintain vendor risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Finance and Legal to ensure compliant contracts and security reviews.
• Build procurement processes and shepherd hands-on setup as first procurement hire.
