Job summary

Greenstone Packaging Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to manage procurement activities at our Sta. Quiteria Caloocan City plant.

You will handle requisitions, create POs, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of quality goods to support manufacturing operations. The role requires 1–2 years buying experience, a relevant degree, and strong MS Office and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in Supply Management, Business, or Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in a buying capacity.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good communication and negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase requisitions and quotations.
• Process approved requisitions and weekly PR monitoring.
• Interview, correspond with, and visit vendors; report market trends.
• Prepare Purchase Orders, bid specs, and procurement documents.
• Consult with departments to determine purchasing needs and specs.
• Perform business analysis and supply market profiling.
• Source potential suppliers and create supplier analysis.
• Negotiate with contractors on price, payment terms, and delivery.
• Purchase goods within budget to meet organizational needs.
• Ensure on-time delivery and quality of goods.
• Order office supplies to maintain inventory and establish BPA.
• Coordinate with Store Room on inventory items to purchase.
