Job summary

J&T Express is seeking a meticulous Procurement Associate to provide administrative support to the Procurement Department. You will canvass suppliers, process purchase requests, and help ensure timely deliveries.

The role emphasizes inventory reviews, PO preparation, and coordinating with suppliers to resolve shortages and changes.

Strong communication, organization, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential to succeed in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any program, preferably Logistics, Supply Chain, Import/Export Operations, or related field.
• At least 1-year relevant work experience in Procurement or similar field preferred.
• Experience in E-Commerce or Logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requests based on current inventory and allocation of supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
• Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.
• Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
• Perform buying duties when necessary.
• Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, warranty servicing, and other problems.
