Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requests based on inventory and allocate supplies.
• Prepare purchase orders and distribute copies to suppliers and requesting departments.
• Check inventory sufficiency and reorder as needed.
• Respond to inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
• Perform purchasing duties as needed.
• Contact suppliers to schedule/expedite deliveries and resolve shortages or issues.

A Procurement Associate provides administrative support for the Procurement Department of J&T Express. As a Procurement Associate, his/her job duties include canvassing, processing purchase requests, ordering supplies, and scheduling deliveries to ensure that J&T Express has sufficient number of necessary materials or equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1. Bachelor's degree in any program, preferably Logistics, Supply Chain, Import/Export Operations, or related field.
• 2. At least 1-year relevant work experience in Procurement or similar field preferred.
• 3. Experience in E-Commerce or Logistics is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

• 1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 2. Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• 3. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• 4. Strong organization and project management skills.
• 5. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and relevant software.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1. Review purchase requests based on current inventory and allocation of supplies, materials, and equipment.
• 2. Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
• 3. Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.
• 4. Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
• 5. Perform buying duties when necessary.
• 6. Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, warranty servicing, and other problems.
