Job summary

Moog Controls Corp. in Baguio City, Philippines, is seeking a Planning Manager who will lead the Planning Department, set goals, and drive material scheduling on the shop floor.

This onsite role reports to the Materials Management Manager and requires hands-on leadership in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has a BS in Business or Technical field, an MBA preferred, and at least five years in planning or supply chain roles, with strong knowledge of MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business or Technical field.
• MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in planning/materials management/supply chain.
• Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Planning Department and complex planning activities.
• Set planning goals and metrics aligned to site objectives.
• Ensure flow-down of goals and metrics to the Planning team.
• Improve the material pull system for shop floor scheduling.
• Facilitate inventory reductions and WIP counts across units.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Warehouse, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Ensure data accuracy in the Moog Business System (MBS).
• Manage Inter-Plant Ordering and Inter-Plant Outside Special Process.
• Assist in budget prep and monitor expenditures.
• Manage performance of Lead Planners according to policy and appraisals.
• Conduct MBS training for new hires.
