Job summary

Moog in Baguio City is seeking a Planning Manager to lead the Planning Department, align goals with site objectives, and drive materials management excellence.

You will implement pull systems, optimize inventory and WIP, and collaborate with Logistics, Warehouse, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality to deliver on-time performance. Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP and budgeting is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field required.
• MBA preferred for advanced leadership and strategy.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive planning/materials management/supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages and supervises the Planning Department and participates in highly complex planning activities.
• Sets planning goals and metrics aligned with site objectives; cascades goals to the planning team.
• Implements and improves material pull systems to facilitate shop-floor scheduling.
• Facilitates inventory reductions and WIP counts within each business unit.
• Collaborates with Logistics, Warehouse, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality to meet company strategy.
• Ensures data accuracy in the Moog Business System (MBS) for daily decisions and ERP transition.
• Manages Inter-Plant Ordering and Inter-Plant Outside Special Process to ensure on-time delivery.
• Participates in budget preparation and monitors expenditures.
• Leads Lead Planners and Planners; conducts performance management and training.
• Conducts MBS training for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Manages and supervises the Planning Department and participates in their highly complex planning activities.
• Sets Planning goals and metrics ensuring alignment to the site's objectives. Ensures flow down of goals and metrics to the Planning team.
• Implements and improves the material pull system that facilitates the scheduling on the shop floor.
• Facilitates inventory reductions and WIP counts within each of the business unit.
• Collaborates with other functions such as Logistics, Warehouse, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality in the identification of solutions / improvements to meet the company strategy.
• Ensures data accuracy in the Moog Business System (MBS) as this is critical in daily business decisions and is equally important to the transition success to Enterprise Resource Planning system.
• Manages the Inter-Plant Ordering process and Inter-Plant Outside Special Process focusing on business system requirements to achieve on time delivery both to internal and external customers.
• Participates in budget preparation and administration, monitors and controls expenditures
• Manages the performance of the Lead Planners and Planners following the company policy, procedures and schedules on performance management. This includes goal setting, capability building (training and certification), performance monitoring (metrics, feedback, coaching, IDP assessment), formal appraisals (ePMS), rewards (promotion along the Job Family Model) and succession planning.
• Conducts MBS Training for new hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Business or Technical
• Masters of Business Administration is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of progressive Planning / Materials Management / Supply Chain experience
• Operations experience is a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of Material Requirements Planning system, material and capacity planning methodologies
