Job summary

Remote Employee BPO Phil Inc in the Philippines seeks a Payroll Accountant to manage end-to-end payroll processing, compliance, and related reporting. The role partners with Finance to provide payroll insights and support budgeting and cost analysis.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with QuickBooks. AI platform training is highly preferred to enhance payroll automation and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Accounting Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years in payroll accounting or payroll administration.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine payroll, taxation, and labor compliance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop.
• AI platform training (Copilot/Claude/ChatGPT/Gemini) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage regular, special, off-cycle, and final payroll processing.
• Maintain payroll registers and supporting schedules.
• Validate attendance, overtime, leave, incentives, deductions, and adjustments.
• Process reimbursements, salary advances, and payroll corrections.
• Reconcile payroll records to accounting and general ledger balances.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and payroll-related reconciliations.
• Investigate payroll variances and resolve discrepancies.
• Support BOI reportorial submissions with payroll data.
• Ensure compliance with BIR, DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
• Prepare payroll funding forecasts and workforce cost projections.
