The role requires 5+ years in mining, strong software skills (Deswik, Surpac, Minesched, AutoCAD), and excellent communication for regulatory and stakeholder engagements.

Qualifications

  • Registered Mining Engineer with a valid license or registration in the Philippines.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience operating mining design software such as Deswik, Surpac, and Minesched.
  • Knowledge of geological models, resource estimates, and scheduling.
  • Strong writing, communication, and field documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and updates of short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans aligned with milestones and safety standards.
  • Interpret geological models and geotechnical inputs to generate mine designs and production schedules.
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, hydrogeological, and processing teams to integrate parameters into designs.
  • Support FEED, FS, and other technical documents with planning outputs and sensitivity analyses.
  • Analyze scenarios, identify risks, and recommend planning solutions for project execution.
  • Assist in field activities, project documentation, and interfaces with government agencies.
  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure adherence to scope, timelines, and safety standards.
