Job summary

Eramen Minerals Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a licensed Mining Engineer with strong mine planning experience to align annual production targets with detailed plans and schedules.

You will generate alternative mining plans, collaborate with geology and marketing, update a 3-year development program, and support pit optimization using GEOVIA Surpac, MineSched, Spry, and Whittle, while ensuring safety and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Must hold a professional mining engineer license.
• At least 3 years of mine planning experience.
• Proficient in Surpac, MineSched, Spry, Whittle and MS Office.
• Demonstrates high integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Honest and dependable.
• Strong management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual mine plans and schedules to meet production targets.
• Prepare alternative mining plans to meet production objectives.
• Classify and identify mine blocks with economic value for scheduling.
• Update 3-year utilization/development plan with ore/waste volumes.
• Coordinate with geology and marketing for block model and ore price to assist pit optimization.
• Assist design using GEOVIA Surpac aligned with 3-year program and feasibility study.
• Guide geology and survey in interpreting mining approaches.
• Assist in determining heavy equipment complement and availability.
• Conduct annual goal setting using SMART framework.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety/environment compliance.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
