Qualifications

• Two+ years in logistics or transportation sales or related B2B sales.
• Ability to prospect, develop relationships, and close new business.
• Strong understanding of transportation pricing, capacity and customer service expectations.
• Ability to understand equipment dimensions, weights, schedules, cargo values, and site requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate quotes and proposals.
• Strong organizational skills with multi-opportunity management.
• Willingness to travel for meetings and site visits.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers in specialized transportation, industrial services, or project cargo markets.
• Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and customer visits.
• Engage with logistics managers, project managers, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
• Meet with customers to understand project schedules, equipment dimensions, and delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with operations to design safe, executable transportation plans.
• Prepare quotes and proposals covering transportation, permits, escorts, and insurance.
• Promote asset-based capabilities while using brokerage capacity as needed.
• Cross-sell related services (crane, rigging, warehousing, etc.).
• Maintain regular CRM activity and communicate ongoing project updates.
