The Rigging Corporation is looking for a Heavy Lift Supervisor to oversee and coordinate heavy lifting, rigging, and project cargo operations. The role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and properly executed lifting activities at project sites.
Supervise heavy lifting and rigging operations at project sites.
Coordinate with project engineers, riggers, equipment operators, and clients.
Ensure proper execution of lifting plans, rigging procedures, and site requirements.
Inspect lifting equipment, rigging gear, and work areas before operations.
Monitor compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
Lead and manage site personnel during lifting activities.
Coordinate the use of cranes, trailers, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
Identify potential operational and safety risks and implement appropriate controls.
Prepare and submit daily activity and site reports.
Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.
At least 3 years of experience in heavy lifting, rigging, or project cargo operations.
Experience supervising heavy lift or project cargo projects is preferred.
Knowledge of cranes, rigging equipment, lifting accessories, and heavy equipment.
Ability to read and understand lifting plans and technical drawings.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Willing to work on-site and travel to project locations as required.
Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.
BOSH/OSH or relevant safety training is an advantage.
Valid driver's license is an advantage.
