Job summary

Our client is expanding its Commercial Team and is seeking a driven, commercially minded Sales Manager to grow revenue by winning new customers and developing existing accounts. The role covers Project Logistics and Contract Logistics, including freight forwarding, with a hands-on, new-business focus.

You will build a strong pipeline, convert opportunities, and work closely with operations to deliver on customer needs. A proven sales track record and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain, freight forwarding preferred.
• Proven sales record with prospecting, presentation and closing skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-directed, target-driven with ability to work independently and with teams.
• Hands-on mindset and interest in growing with the business.

We’re hiring for two areas: Project Logistics and Contract Logistics, including freight forwarding. This is a hands‑on, new‑business‑focused role for someone who can build a strong pipeline, convert opportunities and work closely with operations to deliver on customer needs.

What you’ll do

• Identify and win new customers, opportunities and growth areas.

• Build trusted client relationships and support customer satisfaction.

• Develop proposals, respond to enquiries and follow opportunities through to close.

• Work with internal teams and vendors to align solutions with customer requirements.

• Contribute to sales planning and share relevant market and customer insights.

• Track sales activity, report on results and support timely customer payments.

• Get involved in operational matters when needed.

What you’ll bring

• At least 2 years' experience in logistics or supply chain, ideally in freight forwarding; Oil & Gas experience is an advantage.

• A proven sales record and confidence in prospecting, presenting and closing.

• Strong communication, relationship-building and organizational skills.

• A self-directed, target-focused approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• A practical, hands‑on mindset and an interest in growing with the business.
