Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Customer Service & Documentation Specialist to manage customer inquiries, documentation, and coordination across logistics processes. You will handle bookings, Bills of Lading, pre-alerts, and weekly CS reports while maintaining accurate records for multiple principals.

The role requires a degree in logistics or related field and 2–5 years of experience in shipping or a similar sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics/transportation or related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in CS & documentation, preferably in shipping lines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle escalated customer inquiries requiring intervention.
• Assist in resolving customer problems with guidance and expertise.
• Manage booking, Bill of Lading prep, billing, pre-alert documents, weekly CS reports.
• Prepare consolidated vessel schedules for principals.
• Monitor container status and update clients on location, arrival, departure, BL numbers, and document irregularities.
