Job summary

WNS Global Services, Inc. in Metro Manila seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the Infrastructure group and ensure the robust implementation and maintenance of the organization’s IT backbone.

You will manage a team of hardware, networks and security professionals, plan OS/server deployments, oversee data center operations, and coordinate with vendors for IT assets and services. The role emphasizes ISO 27001 security policy implementation and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management roles, with a focus on enterprise-level infrastructure and operations.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
• Relevant certification such as ITIL, PMP, Microsoft certifications or any IT related certifications are highly desirable but not required.
• In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, security, and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects, coordinate with various teams and handle complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Infrastructure group to ensure IT infrastructure implementation and maintenance.
• Manage hardware, networks and security professionals.
• Plan organization-wide OS, server applications, and user desktop installations.
• Ensure smooth data center operations and maintenance.
• Monitor helpdesk, and resolve hardware, networking and system administration issues.
• Handle system administration tasks like user access, backups, patch management, and virus/spam management.
• Implement ISO 27001 security policies and procedures.
• Procure IT products/services; IT asset management.
• Coordinate with vendors on IT purchases and technical specifications.
• Mentor junior staff and assign duties within the Infrastructure group.
• Plan future IT infrastructure development and policies.
