Job summary

WNS Global Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced head of IT Infrastructure in Metro Manila. The role leads a team of hardware, networks, and security professionals, overseeing OS/server deployments and enterprise-wide desktop implementations.

The candidate will ensure smooth data center operations, monitor helpdesk issues, and enforce security and IT governance, including ISO 27001. Strong leadership and cross-team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 5+ years in IT management roles with enterprise infrastructure and operations.
• Strong leadership and ability to mentor team members.
• ITIL, PMP or Microsoft certifications are desirable but not required.
• In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, security and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the Infrastructure group to ensure implementation and maintenance of the IT Infrastructure.
• Managing a team of hardware, networks and security professionals.
• Plan and implement organization-wide installations of OS, servers applications, and user Desktop systems.
• Ensure smooth running of Data Center operations and all maintenance activities.
• Monitor helpdesk support and resolution of hardware, networking and systems issues.
• Handle system administration functions such as user access control, backup/restoration, patch, virus and spam management.
• Implement security policies and procedures per ISO 27001 standards.
• Procurement and review of IT products and services; IT Asset Management.
• Coordinate with principals/vendors on IT purchases and technical specifications.
