Job summary

Central Lumber Corporation is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead workforce operations, recruitment and onboarding, and to develop and implement employee policies ensuring legal compliance and a positive workplace culture.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic HR management, and the ability to guide teams within a manufacturing context while maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all HR activities.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in an HR leadership role, preferably in manufacturing or related industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in all facets of human resource management and knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Strong leadership, coaching, training and development skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, use sound judgment and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop employment strategies and programs to build a candidate talent pool and manage recruitment, testing and interviewing processes.
• Maintain positive working relationships across teams by addressing employee concerns and providing mediation.
• Ensure strict implementation and monitoring of compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
• Initiate programs to foster a high-performing work environment with monitoring tools and reward systems.
• Source and implement internal and external training to keep organizational competencies aligned with business needs.
