Job summary

Salma Health, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Business Strategy & Operations to partner with the executive team and leaders across functions.

You will shape strategic initiatives, build measurement systems, and drive analytics-enabled decisions to scale the business in mental health care. In this role, you will define operating models for new products, services, and clinics, manage cross-functional programs, and develop dashboards that reveal performance and risk.

Qualifications

• 3 to 8 years of experience across strategy and operations, ideally within healthcare or digital health.
• Track record of running cross-functional initiatives and operational improvements in a fast-growing organization.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to build measurement frameworks and dashboards.
• Comfort working with large operational data sets and the tools to analyze them.
• Ability to define and track KPIs across operational and financial domains.
• Comfortable turning ambiguous cross-functional problems into structured plans with clear measures of success.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate across functions without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic and operational initiatives from problem definition through implementation and measurement.
• Partner with department and clinical leaders to diagnose where operations need to evolve for scale and design lighter-touch workflows.
• Translate ambiguous problems into defined solutions with clear measures of success.
• Contribute to a portfolio of priority initiatives spanning program design, AI enablement, and build-versus-buy decisions.
• Support the operational build-out of new products, service lines, and clinics from launch through scale.
• Translate offerings into operating models, staffing, workflows, and systems to run reliably.
• Define what good looks like for a new offering and milestones for readiness to scale.
• Surface and resolve risks, dependencies, and execution gaps as offerings move from pilot to full operation.
• Coordinate handoffs to day-to-day teams and refine approach with each launch.
• Define and track operational metrics and build dashboards for visibility across sites.
• Prepare data-informed board materials and executive reporting.
